In 2016 God placed on our hearts a desire to bring light to those without electricity. Light is so taken for granted by us here in America. It is a source of productivity, emotional well-being, safety in your surroundings, and also safety from attack. We wanted to bring these basic human rights to those living in areas where light is dictated by sun, or provided through kerosene lamps, which can be costly and dangerous.

1.2 billion people lack access to electricity, and yet for $20 you can provide a safe and reliable source of light to a home for 3-5 years. This will allow children to complete their homework, meals to be prepared safely, transportation while walking to be safer, fellowship in homes to be welcoming, and risk of fire to decrease dramatically.

Think of your aggravation when the power goes out, and yet we have the resources of flashlights and generators. Imagine a village that is dark when the sun goes down, and they don’t have these sources of light. Giving this light will fight poverty by allowing students time to study, work in safety, and gain a brighter future.

Our greatest source of light is Christ. All lamps will be delivered with a message of eternal light - eternal hope. John 8:12 "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

We are currently lighting villages in Haiti and Rwanda.

Thank you for your partnership,
Jason and Rachel Ludwick
